Ellegua Orisha bracelet

A powerful piece dedicated to the Orisha Ellegua who is regarded as the Lord of the Crossroads and the opener and closer of paths in life; he also represents the beginning and end of life. In ceremonies Ellegua is always mentioned first because without his permission the paths to communication with the other Orisha stay closed. Ellegua's colors of red and black are shown here in groups of 3 which is his sacred number. There are thirteen groups around the main bracelet which ties to one of his most holy days - June 13th.
